Chromebooks are managed devices and have a number of built-in security features. In addition, we utilize both GoGuardian and GAT Labs to help provide additional content managing and filtering options.
While no solution is going to be 100% effective, we find that between our school-wide content filter and the two Chromebook tools, the student experience using technology has been much better. One added benefit of the Chromebook monitoring is that we can be proactive and help students as they navigate how to use technology in a responsible, efficient, and safe way.
